Right, I'm off the the General Forum
Cos my bike sold yesterday.
Nice young lad came and got it (advertised on Ebay). told him about the site so he may pop in.
Will miss it, but I am enjoying my 100mile a day commute at the moment, which unfortunately was quite painfull on the Falco, so it was the right move.
It was a bloody nice looking Falco though.

I now have a vey good condition (for the time being anyway) 1994 R1100GS. Belgian import, owned by the same old gentleman for the last 10 year with only 40,000km. No service history, but I just had a full service and front master cylinder repair for £250 (from a guy who works out of his garage and only works on GS bike. Got his details from the GS forum where he is a bit of a legend).
It only cost me £1900 shoud be reliable so is the ideal choice for my daily commute. Goes and handles well too.
Yes, on a warn day with clear twisty roads ahead of me I would want ot be on the Falco, but for 100 miles a day in and out of london, in english weather with some nice roads thrown in I'll stick with the beemer.
I still get up in the morning and leave my office at night looking forward to the ride.
