Free Suspension Set Up (Warrington, Chesire)

#1 Post by FlyingKiwi » Tue Sep 25, 2007 5:46 pm

Hi all,
The following email came thru my In box this afternoon

Hello from RiDE,

We're looking for readers who can help us with a feature this Friday afternoon (sorry about the short notice) in Warrington, Cheshire. In return the people who come along will get a free suspension set-up from Maxton's experts and will also appear in the December issue of the magazine.

If you have a bike with suspension that is adjustable for preload, rebound damping and compression damping, are available to help us in either the morning or the afternoon on Friday (September 28), please reply to my email and I will do my best to get everything sorted for you.

Many thanks

Sod it....I replied but I dont want them messing with the setup.

How much is a days pay worth to you....Book a holiday and get 35quids (at least) worth of setup.

Just replied as well - I finish work on Friday lunch time, and was thinking about getting a set-up done, so might be worth it.

Assuming they'll print my ugly mug in the mag, that is :smt002

I got a reply - see below:
Hello,

Thanks very much for replying to my request for help with a suspension feature, which I sent out last night. The response was, as usual with RiDE readers, superb.

Unfortunately, we only have space for four readers to come along and have their suspension set up and those four spaces have now been taken.

Thanks again for responding to my email and I hope I get the chance to contact you again about a feature in future.

Many thanks
Tony Hoare
Guess my mug is too ugly for print after all :smt010
