Falco sightings at the Bulldog Bash

#1 Post by Nooj » Mon Aug 13, 2007 6:14 pm

A black one with a cut down rear mudguard and a black rat sticker on the bellypan, parked next to a bronze/black one which was lashed to a Hornet. Who were you??

Sounds a bit AC/DC.

I was gutted I didn't get the Falco to the Bash due to my sidestand incident, had to bring the Hornet instead.

Saw some guy with a black Falco in the queue for RWYB (maybe the same guy you're talking about) and went over and had a chat with him, Northern bloke, had nice cans, can't remember what though.

What times were you getting on the RWYB? A mate on a Firestorm really wanted to drag with me to see how much quicker the Falco was (if at all)... he was running 11.7 or 11.6 as a best I think... I only got a 12.0 on the Hornet (not too bad though as the book time is 11.9)

I got a shamefull 12.4 twice in a row due to slow starts. My third run felt much fastrer and smoother but unfortunately the starting/timing machine wasn't working. It was still cool though as the race was started by an Angel dropping a red bandana, 50's style.
