More bike bits!
A set of Renegade big bore headers and some rather tasty cf end cans turned up today, they are now sitting assembled on the livingroom floor in front of me waiting to go onto the bike. That'll be Sunday's job if the weather holds out.
I've also got the chip that goes with it all, even though I said don't send one to try and save £50. As it's here I'll give it a go but the original plan was to get a custom map done. Anyone got any experience of the Rengade chip?

The Rene chips work a treat with the systems. Theyre not just 'an old chip we'll send out' so much as an integral part of the whole set up. Jorge spent a lot of time developing the chips for the cans so that the chip was as best a generic match for the cans, bike it's intended for, etc.
Expect a 'Rene Grin' shortly. It usually starts to occur about 3k RPM
Hopefully others will agree.. I'd hate for me to be the only one to speak up! (I know I dont have a Ap with Renes, but after the multitude of 'em ive fitted, I do consider i know about 'em..)

More HP is always good, but especially where it's most usable! Jorge was confident I'd get a good result with the chip and I don't believe he'd send out any old tat, I was just wondering if the chip is for the end cans only, or for the full system and airkit together. I suppose he is the guy to ask really.
Couldn't find your AF1 post, how long ago did you do it?
