Michelin tyre recall

I have a Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tyre on the front of the G/F's CBR600 and will be getting a rear to match this evening.

Has anyone heard of a recall on the front ones i.e 120/70/17 due to the thread departing company with the carcass?

I've been reading a wee bit about it on the net but I cannae seem to find the official Michelin line on this.

just had a phone call today from mitchelin after about five weeks, having it fitted next week.if it's made in france it's dodgy.

Isnt anything? Citroen.. Renault.. Anything to do with snails and food in the same sentence...

Awaiting the phone call from Michelin but last night I got a rear put on it and now it corners like it's on rails.

BTW the tyres are fookin sooperb, super sticky on the edges and hard in the middle.

........just like me
