The Information Zone ; The lowdown

#1 Post by Kwackerz » Tue Jul 10, 2007 5:32 pm

The Content of this section is only for general information purposes. Under no circumstances are any subjects or posts within this section to be taken as Legal Advice. It isnt, they arent. If you want proper pukka legal advice then you need to speak to either Citizen's Advice or a Solicitor. Those reading this particular area are to be under no illusion as to the merit of posts here. Should something SOUND like pukka advice, it still isnt! If something sounds like really good advice, take it as 'good advice' BUT GET IT CONFIRMED by a Solicitor. Get the idea? RS does not give out Legal Advice.

( Similarly, Anything said in this section is not The Website's, The Website Owners, Admins, Mods or Membership's stance on a subject, Purely that of the individual poster of the item. www.ridersite.com It's owners or staff accept no responsibility for the accuracy or factual state of anything posted here. )

TC has kindly allowed us to compile all his useful posts into one area. There is a lot of useful information contained in those posts as Im sure youre all aware. HOWEVER. If you happen to ask TC or others for any advice, dont get the arse with them if it's not the answer you were praying for.

Doing 120mph in a 30 zone will get you proper bang to rights if you're caught. Dont even go there asking for advice on how to get off it. You will just get laughed at. Please dont insult the intelligence of our members with completely bone questions about 'getting off' anything other than genuine cases of misunderstanding or error. If you've been twatted by a SMIDSY, by all means seek some guidance as to what the hell to do. I know I would!! Please do feel free to ask for help, advice or pure sympathy if you have a subject or incident that requires it. There are people on the Site who will try and help constructively... just like I said, the obvious things like speeding (without the shadow of a doubt), maybe refrain from posting about. :smt018

If you have information for the good and benefit of the other members, (maybe the import rules for Motorcycles from Japan.. Maybe the laws for towing a trailer on a motorcycle..) Please do feel free to post up a well drafted post about it. All information is most welcome! Please, no one line weblinks, we've got a links section for that! :smt001

I should add that this particular section WILL be moderated heavily (if needed).. Crap will be removed and no apology given.

Think, before you Drink, before you Type.
