Ha ha... seems like a bit of a storm in a teacup.
Great country though Botswana, spent 10 days in a bush camp while at Uni in South Africa... had lions and elephants walking through the camp at night (lions ate one of the donkeys) and spiders the size of small rats that would stalk you. We stopped using torches at night because we would cr@p ourselves at the eyes reflecting back out the bush... we decided if we coundn;t see them they couldn't see us
On one walking expedition our guide fired a shot into the air.. when we asked what he was doing he said he was scaring away the Leopard that had been stalking us for the last 500 metres! Buts all besides the point
