Stick some pics up of your clip on experiments, I'd be interested to see how they compare to mine. I had to drop the yokes right down as my Gilles Variobars have a really deep fork clamp, I went down to the bottom line, then what ever the gap between the lines is, I dropped it again by that measurement, that put the top clamp bolt just at the very top of the fork leg, just enough for it to have something to tighten down onto. The rear end of mine is quite low already due to my lack of leg length (also got an Ohlins shock) so the steering isn't too flighty, it's actually extremely good, the new geometry coupled with the OZ wheels means it turns by thought power alone now.
