My apologies if this has been covered before,(I did a search but nothing came up) but there is an identical post over on the AF1 Tuono section at the moment and it's a damn good thread.
So where does your user name originate?
Mines easy and boring

5yrs of ownership and developing this followed by my lucky number = Falco9.
Even though I've now moved to the dark side and bought a Tuono the username will stick with me, even through threats of burning!

Mines pretty obvious. 6ft7in, 19 stone rugby player. I make a Falco look like a mini-moto I reckon!

Mine is an amalgamation of nicknames I picked up... At Uni I was "Tiz", short for Throbbing Italian Zub ... (but thats another story

), and amongst my teammates I was Syl.. after Sylvester the cartoon character, apparenty I sound like him after a few drinks

Ok.. I lied. My first love in biking was the GPz900. I always wanted a 'Kwacker Z'. Eventually I got a Z440H, then a few years later I got my GPz900R.
The name went thru a few changes o'er the years... Baron Von Richtofen, K, Kwacks, Kuackerz, then back to Kwackerz.
BVR? Dont ask.. I cant remember..

D-Rider:
I'd been reading the various Aprilia forums for a while and then, one day, I needed to post something up. Went through the registration malarkey and had to specify a username.
Then began the head-scratching.
Complete lack of inspiration ...
.....
........
...........
................. was listening to Hawkwind at the time and wondered whether there were any appropriate track titles. Mulled a little and then remembered D-Rider.
It contained the word "Rider" so I decided that would have to do.
...... and now I am D-Rider.
(not to be confused with "Drider" which I later found out to be spidery alien type things from Dungeons and Dragons).

My son was in Hospital about 25 years ago, there was a kid in his ward called Ricky Rock and my wife started calling me that and when looking for a forum name it was the first one that I could think of.
Rick believe it or not is a shortened form of Eric.
