Just bought the latest Ride magazine.
There's a launch-event test-ride report by Ben along with some technical stuff on following pages .... although what they were trying to describe with the cam drive, I've no idea - and I'm supposed to be an engineer!
If anyone understands what they're saying, please explain (or draw a picture!)
Certainly worth a read.
Most definitely aimed at a different market to the current and recent Aprilia models. Fully ride by wire throttle with soft bottom end control (should sort out low speed drivability but maybe looses some 'kick'). Front Showa suspension not adjustable rear only adjustable for pre-load and compression - but Ben thinks it works and doesn't really need the adjustability.
The view is that it's a Z750 contender.
Anyway, that's enough from me - go and buy your own copy!
Also MCN info in the V4 and Shiver with spy shots (including spy shot of the faired Shiver clay - looks very upright .... faired Bandit/Fazer?)
More on Shiver - press review by ARS member !
