Aprilia Shiver - Report & Videos

#1 Post by D-Rider » Mon Jun 11, 2007 11:58 pm

The Shiver is coming ......

Raptors and Rockets have put together a launch report and posted up 4 videos.
The Launch report contains the videos but I've linked them separately for those that just want to get in there and watch them.
The first 2 are just on-bike footage - IMHO the camera's mounted too low and too much is obscured by the clocks - but still good to see it riding on Italian roads.
Videos 3&4 are more informative but also include road footage.

I can't see me ditching my Falco but I will be wanting a test ride ASAP!
Perhaps a few of us can grab a demo bike before too long and put our own video together ..... my betting is we can do a better job than the journalists (unless Ben is reading and joins us - in which case we'll do it with the journalists!).

.... and once we've done that we can find out about big automatics with the Mana!

Not impressed with those video's, anyone would think he was breaking the law speed wise.

D-R you sure you'd have a naked bike, it hurts more when you're older :smt002

No - as I said, I won't be changing the Falco for one - I don't think it's really my kind of bike. However, I would like to try one to see what Aprilia is doing - and to get a feeling of what a sports or sports/tourer version might be like if they decide to make one.

Oh ....... and I am older (but maybe not older than you) :smt002

mmmm

Can Not

and

Will Not

...... not identical but hardly contradictory.

The salient part being the word "NOT"

(actually, I did want to call one of my sons Will Knott - but my wife vetoed the plan .... in fact she vetoed it 3 times as it was my first choice name for each of them)

It looks like the offspring of a coming together of a Mille, A Ducati Monster and a Raptor. Probably a heavy night fuelled by 98 ron unleaded

Not bad, but I hate that Gold frame.
