I just received a notification of being unsubscribed from here.....but I didn't know I was a member!
It appears I was so I thought I'd sign in and say hello!
I think there's a few old names I remember from the original Ridersite and VD.......going back 15 years ago at least. In that era I was BlackJet, so some of you may remember that name! Is Woody or fastfitter still about.......we met up a few times back then?
In those days I was still in Wales, but since 2005 I've been living in the Granada province of Southern Spain........3000ft up in the mountains.
I'm now an OAP (but still working)......still riding......and on bike number 63! This was taken Xmas Day!

I remember the name Blackjet, don't think we ever met. Fastfitter hasn't been around for a long time, he had family changes and was too busy, and Woody moved away from Cardiff I think and got a new life.
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Remember me to Woody if you speak to him!
Tell him Pete (who left for Spain in 2005) was asking about him.

Great! Next time you're abusing him send some abuse from me too!

Some names there I remember from 'back in the day'.
I quit the UK for France in 2007 and am still here. Annoyingly, some scrotes nicked my t'cat the week I moved (it was recovered; it'd been used on a robbery and then ditched) Insurance company paid out full, no quibbles (to my surprise) and I bought another t'cat. Swapped that a number of years back for something more sedate and upright 'cause I'm getting on. I'm pretty much a fair weather rider these days tbh.
Those pics of Spain look amazing XTreme, remind me of spaghetti westerns! Nothing like around here, which is very green (and wet) at the moment, with roads liberally covered with cow shit, muck and tractors.

We live about 100kms from Mini Hollywood in Almeria.......which was the area where the Spaghetti Westerns were filmed back in the 60's.

Where are you in France, yello? We have a fixer-upper (that's been being fixed up for 15 years already) in the south, not far from Beziers. There are some seriously good roads in that region...

Where are you in France, yello?
Pretty much smack bang in the centre. Very rural and largely bypassed.
