Hi guys, it's been a while since I posted on here so How you all doing? Anyway, I'm thinking of a new chip for the old girl. Had a factory pro on the last one (many years ago) but saw this on fleabay and wondered if they were any good...

Sounds like the guy knows his stuff.
TBH that is not a lot for a dual map eprom .
I have a German eprom in mine,no one heard of the guy ect but it is bloody brilliant !
I would take a punt on that !

I have a chip from Ed which might have made a difference but tbh I can't remember what the bike was like before.. I guess it would be worth a go even if it was sold on afterwards. And of course it might be easier than doing the Factory RSVR motor swap ... I'm essentially a lazy bastard.

I've never seen that chip before but I would heartily recommend getting one of Gabro's - couldn't be happier with mine.

I could recommend Ed's (Forza Italia) or Gabro's chippery to anyone. Both are excellent and massively improve the bike, in my opinion.

I've got one of Ed's chips in mine, and it runs so rich at times that it stings the eyes of anyone behind me..

Just another reason for me to pull my finger out and install the monster motor, get a Gabby chip, fit the PCIII and the quickshifter then fark off down to Moorespeed for a dyno run ..

Interesting - I found my MPG improved quite noticeably when I fitted one of Ed's chips. But it was tailored for my unbalanced exhaust system (i.e. no balance pipes), so that may have had an effect.

But which RATED chips are actually available to buy from NEW?

I have some digging to do as I bought a chip (from here I think) lost the details and not sure on trying it now...

As an aside I found a seller for newer Gabro items here:

www.apriliaspecialparts.com

Google and its translate feature is quite helpful but English txt also is shown.
