Only slightly pissed off ...

I can't be the only one who uses an auction sniping programme??

Why the fuck then is the only time the system fails is when I really R E A L L Y want something, and it sells for a stupidly cheap amount to some other lucky twat.
Apologies if that person is on here, but you really are a lucky twat.

yaaas - I saw that one, it's a puller and the standard Falco would need a push unit, having said that, I could flip the linkage I think ...

But then, when the RSVR motor goes in - it's going to realistically be the new year now - I've heard a lot about the shift pattern being reversed - but I don't knpw why. Does the RSV not have a linkage? Does the RSV lever face backwards? Has the Falco's been 'reversed' because of the linkage??

Ach - who knows .. I picked up a Dorsoduro linkage in the spring, it might help, and it might give me some TiG welding practice too ...

98 to 03 RSV's don't have a linkage, the gear change faces backward compared to a Falc, can't vouch for other years .

Fats

I googled it and saw one - I guess the Falco linkage will still work it the right way ..

It's an 04 Factory lump - nothing exciting yet, I've just done the front cylinder's cam lobe timing to Gabro's suggested 108/112, and relocated the camshaft position sensor .. just need to pull my finger out and get the rear cylinder done now...

I've just had my foot surgery done so will be non weight bearing for up to 10 weeks, so not much garage time opportunity for me really ...

Well, I won that one last night so that's one little bonus, but it went for £20.00 more than the one my sniper missed ..

No biggie though, if I need to reverse the actuation orientation of the existing lever I can always cobble something together from the Dorsodura lever I have..
