A good day's fettling

#1 Post by fatboy » Sun Mar 25, 2018 4:53 pm

On Friday I finally got round to fitting some bike bling, Oz wheels and some outragous new cans,Saturday was rained off but today we had a good dose of sunny stuff here.
I set off with a degree of caution, the rather splendid fellow that sold them to me warned that the weight difference between Oz and standard may initially cause surprises...
They did ! Bit too easy to get the front up,steering damper needed a very small tweek to compensate for the new low fat wheel, best of all the bike now seems effortless through the twisties, sublime, luxury!
As for the cans, sound like they came of a Moto gp bike :smt003
On a satisfaction level on the 1 to 10 score, I'm at 25 :smt004

Excellent stuff, Paul. The lighter wheels benefit every single facet of the bike's performance, as I'm sure you're finding out. The best bit for me is the way you can just flick the bike rather than having to telegraph the bridge requesting a change of direction... :smt003

Sound file please :smt003. Exhausts don't sound right in silent mode
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"
