Would anyone be offended if I lobbed a grenade into the Big Brother House?
Missus K is watching it, I am unfortunately caught in the Telly's area of ops and although on the Pooter, am being subjected to that bloody drivel.
I think I want to die.
Slowly and painfully, as long as it makes the voices go away...

I just dont get it. Last seasons racism thing got the media in a frenzy and polititians were commenting on it while in other countrys. I dont watch it but it was on the radio 24/7 every 15 fking minutes so you couldnt miss it
Result? 6million viewers watch
Top gear (which I also dont watch) comes back for a new season with a tiny fraction of the build up and certanly no world wide coverage
Result? 8million
Boils my piss just to accidentely catch a clip of it. BOILS IT.

Had the radio on tonight while working on my swinger in the garage.
Sounds as thought the racism-ratings-booster is being tried again - apparently someone's uttered the "n-word" and been booted out.
Call me cynical but I do wonder whether this was something the person just happened to say or was something that was made worth their while to get the ratings up.
Oh crap - I'm even talking about it now (it's not going to get me to watch that junk though)

The thing that amazes me is (and it not aimed at anybody here) that nobody will ever admit to watching it... all my friends, family, collegues, cricket team etc etc dont watch it. I dont think I have ever chatted to a person that admits to watching it? My point is, I think alot of us secretly watch it and enjoy the inter-human dynamics but feel they would rather be caught masterbating than admit to watching it.
I of course dont watch it

I know people that watch it - my wife, my wife's friends, my brother in law (but he does drama in schools for a living).
I think it's mainly those of a female persuasion .... at least that's my experience.
Mind you the Mrs despairs of my TV tastes: Documentaries (though it's hard to find a good one these days), sport and comedy (not those American sit-coms that are devoid of all humour either).

My boss's girlfriend used to work with one of them. The cambridgeshire lass, Tracey is it? Apparently she used to be a trainee hairdresser years back and was his girlfriend's gofer (go fer this, go fer that) She was told after a year she was crap and she'd never make a hairdresser. Hence why now she's a cleaner or something.
Small trivia really, just thought i'd share it with you as I had to put up listening to her going on about this girl the other night in the Pub.
See! Even without a bloody TV there, BB is still being discussed!

RS is now a BB free zone.

I can't understand what people find interesting about it. Go sit in a cafe if you want to people watch, it's much more interesting.
I saw a 2min clip where one girl wanted to know if she would still get deals if she left after 5days 'cause that was all she wanted

Shallow or what.

I haven't read this thread, just looked at last post and want to say that not only do NOT watch Big Brother but I can't be bothered wasting my time reading threads about it either!

Don't watch it, but can't you find something bigger than a grenade.
How about that new sub that has been launched, the Astute.
That would put it to good use.
Adventure before Dementia.
