Just going out on the bike for a bit....

#1 Post by DavShill » Tue Jul 11, 2017 1:36 pm

Well, three weeks actually. Heading off tomorrow on the evening ferry to Rotterdam. Then we tun left and head North and keep going until the roads run out. Destination is the Nordkapp. Approx 400 miles north of the Arctic Circle. Combination of camping and cabins and the occasional hotel.

I'll post pics in the Tours section when I get back.

In the meantime, the tabs open if you want to join me in a swift one before I go.

See you in August :smt006

I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"

The view at Nordkapp is amazing. Was there in 2015 as part of my 'Grand Tour' and absolutely loved it.
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
