Looking for some guidance

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Thu Jun 07, 2007 2:05 pm

Friend of mine has decided that she is going to do her bike test, and start riding

she lives near basingstoke, hampshire

Anyone know that area and who can recommend a few places she can go to to get a decent set of leathers, for a beginner?

bearing in mind she is a size 10, and is about 5'11" tall she will need a good selection....

E-bay if you want cheap (and have a bit of patience). ...does a novice really need leathers?

HG if you want new, reasonable reliable quality, but not quite so cheap.

...or does the lady want bling? :smt001

actually, a couple of people here have met the lady in question....

and yes, size 10, 5'11"....

I asked her if she thought textiles might be a better choice - "No - leather suits me.....)

.... are we talking Bikefest here, Pete ?

:smt002

If so, leathers would be a far better choice than saggy-baggy textiles :smt003

Sounds nice but to tall for me, I do love a fit girl on a bike in full leathers
