I deserve a beer !

#1 Post by fatboy » Sat Jan 07, 2017 5:48 pm

We have cleared the massive amounts of the festive period recycling !
Quantity/weight wise that is a months work done in 9 days, we have been bringing in around 120 to 150 tonnes a day, all of this plucked from household recycling boxes...
That is a shit load of booze cans, bottles, greetings cards ect, using 19 lwb, 5 swb lorries holding around 4 and 3 tonnes respectively...

I am pleased to say we generated less rubbish than we normally do, mostly down to the fact that we didn't dispose of the supermarkets nonexistent war on waste.

I have also made 15kg of paper bricks in the last 3 months from newspapers :smt001
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"

And for those that wondered how you would keep busy in your retirement. ...
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Hahaha yes indeed, its amazing what you can save when you want to. Another example is the use of fuel, we walk everywhere locally, so no more 9 mpg trips and its good exercise.
