Hi all,
I remember someone saying they had filled the tank to the brim and found it held 25 litres (or thereabouts).
I filled up the other day and from the "reserve light disco[1]" to full was 18.5 litres.
Given the psychotic state of local drivers, I'm not willing to try riding until the tank is empty and the bike stops in the middle of the road...
[1] - Where the reserve light comes on and off as the fuel sloshes around in the tank, just in case you had NFI was I was talking about.

It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
I filled mine the other day - the light had come on only a few miles before. I got 20 litres in there without even trying to stand the bike up level (just checked my receipt ... 20.06 litres) - but I don't know how much it was holding in reserve.
I can believe 24-25 litres might be the overall capacity.

Filled the bike again the other week, and I firmly believe you could cram more than 20 litres in there if you were prepared to spend ages doing the "fill the filler neck and let it go down before filling it up again" dance.
The extra touring / cruising / racing range is certainly a huge improvement over the stock tank.
