He's got a job

#1 Post by nicketynoo » Sun Jul 31, 2016 8:49 am

Bars open as I'm pleased to announce that Dom has been offered an electrical apprenticeship with British steel.
He's rightly chuffed about it but as much as I am, it's a weight off my mind knowing he's finally got a direction to go in.
Oh and it also means I've finished paying maintenance to his mothers wine fund :smt002
Although British steel aren't the most stable company at the moment ,he is guaranteed to finish the apprenticeship once he's started.
So please step up to the bar and celebrate with us both. :smt030
I don't care if you lick windows,
Take the special bus
Or occasionally pee on yourself.
You hang in there sunshine, you're special!

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Excellent news! A worthy trade to go into. The world will always need a sparky.. More so now electric cars are becoming more popular. :smt002 :smt002

I'll go for a ginger beer.. Alcoholic, of course. :smt003
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Nice one, Dom and proud Dad. A sparky is a proper trade and one that won't go out of fashion or be sent out to India.

Excellent trade to be in - a good electrician is worth his weight in gold!
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Excellent and well done

Fizzy water for me please

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
