Last two done...... Finally.....

#1 Post by morepower » Mon Jun 13, 2016 6:31 pm

Here are the last two made. Finished... OK.. Little lie... There is one more that is a guy who is not on the forum to finish off but that one is made and I am just waiting for his decals to be sorted and arrive before his is sent for lacquer....
It has been a pleasure to make these tanks... Not so much to remake the mould and the delays that caused. But when I got to make them it was actually very enjoyable to do... Nicer to make then the Aprilia RS250 tanks and I now have to do one of those too....

As you guys know I did them at a price I was happy to do them for.. Now I have done them for you and know the extra materials needed and now having to pay for lacquer I have had to up the price to £950.00 plus postage. The Mille or RSV1000 tanks will be even more expensive. But I will keep the Falco ones at this new price for the rest of this year and only change if there is a material price increase next year....

I really have loved making each and every tank.
Thank you guys so much....... I genuinely am happy to have helped you all with a tank that will no longer swell or change shape due to ethanol.

We've been equally delighted to have bought them and seen/felt the quality, Richard!

What Mango said.

Your tanks are a work of art, and I can't wait for summer to roll around so I can get out and show off your work.
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
