broken earth - again

#1 Post by Falcopops » Tue Apr 26, 2016 8:15 am

It's been almost 4 years since I fixed this on my blue Falco see here and clearly a previous owner has fixed my current one in the past, but not well enough.

I have limited tools in this country, but do have a decent soldering iron, so I spliced in a length of household multistrand wiring to replace the repair I cut out and give a little more length. Here's hoping it's proper fixed for my trip to the lakes this weekend.

Still surprises me that it's not happening to more owners.

Where are you these days Dale? Will you make it to one of the meets?

I think a forum meet up before you head back to Aus is in order. I'd certainly like to meet you and share a beer/wine or 13 with you before you head south... :smt003

I've been drinking with Dale (Durham meet years ago ... along with Davshill, HisNibbs and others).
The quantities of drink of which you speak will not come close ........

why thank you gentlemen, feeling the love. my return to oz may have come a bit closer, but its still a moveable feast.

Having just had a snowy/rainy/sunny weekend in the lakes on the bike, I'm keen for a good weather ride for a change.
