Has anyone else bought one,as would welcome advice on what to look for, I love riding Aprilias but my knowledge on mechanics is shocking.

I seem to remember there was a recall on the swing arms of the early 3rd Gen because some of them suffered cracking, but by now all should have been done. Might be worth asking. Apart from that, I've not heard of any problems. Griff at Aprilia Performance would know.

I do know that the engines of the 3rd Gen RSVs were a lot smoother and had some of the rough edges of the earlier models removed. They were also a lot quicker - 57mm throttle bodies, I think... :smt003

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Didn't one version have issues with the swingarm and or linkages?
Other than that I would just make sure all the bling was there and correct wheels have not been replaced with copies etc. What exhausts are fitted
