Well THAT's a Relief !

#1 Post by D-Rider » Tue Jan 26, 2016 6:27 pm

The bar is open - stocked with Perriers for Pete and proper stuff for the rest of us.

I've had a bit of a medical worry for a while and things had got a bit busy since Christmas with doctors and hospitals and mutterings of "you might not be able to go on your holiday to New Zealand" (which is next Thursday) ... and the word "cancer" coming up from the docs.

Well the biopsy results are back and it's good news - nothing to worry about.
At least I don't have to have the discussion about "I'm going on holiday anyway, you can treat me when I get back" which I had expected to have.

Let's get the party started.

WooHooo, that is very good news for you.
I will celebrate your good news by imbibing yet more 5% lager and a few more roll ups cos they go well with a beer.
PS strongly suggest you do not follow my own particular health regime and do suggest bloody well enjoying your holiday !

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Good news indeed, and well worth drinking to.

I have some idea of your sense of relief - I had a similar, ultimately unfounded, scare several years ago over testicular cancer, thanks to a (possibly) over-zealous GP.

Glad it's all good - I'll drink to that!

Good to hear that, Andy - mine's a large glass of red (unsurprisingly)... :smt003

Well pleased

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

So far the year is starting off with relatively good news reports. Lets keep this up, eh! :smt003

Glad you are in the clear, and have a fantastic holiday, I'd love to go back to New Zealand again one day.
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"
