Ethanol remover?
I know nothing about it but attention was drawn on another forum.
Clearly it's only going to be of use to someone who doesn't use their plastic-tanked bike all the time as it would be too much faff to keep doing it, but could be useful in some cases - if it actually does what it says.

The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Then again, isn't Ethanol there to boost the octane rating, as well as supposedly being a "green" alternative to petrol?
Simple answer is just to use super unleaded fuel for the present time, until that get polluted with the same stuff.
That will probably be cheaper than cooking unleaded plus the additive.

Rather an interesting note here https://www.steeltank.com/Portals/0/Art ... stated.pdf.
I know for a fact that several forecourts over the last few years have been closed to have new tanks fitted, one after just 5 years in use.

I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"

Yup, I've lived in this neck of the woods almost 30 years and there's still problems with garages tanks.mangocrazy wrote:That article was written over 15 years ago. Hardly up to the minute stuff...?Gio wrote:Rather an interesting note here https://www.steeltank.com/Portals/0/Art ... stated.pdf.
