Similar thing happened to my brother did the west coast highway came home and bought a big triumph cruiser jobby. Sad to see
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Visited Silver Lake which is supposed to be the Hipster Hang out. Nothing special a few vintage shops with nice but overpriced stuff.
I've done the west coast and even across the country trips but by car. We are planning to do a bike trip in a few years, probably when I first retire but I think I'll be buying an old BMW for that. Couldn't bring myself to buy a Hardly Motorcycle and you'll be comforted to hear, the days of my having enough hair for a ponytail are long gone.
So this trip is mainly hanging out by the pool with my wife's family which is pretty easy going, and the occasional spot of retail therapy for my girls, which is not.
