After an hour of riding at the speed limit at the weekend I ended up with the dreaded twin tingles! Vibration through the left bar and right footpeg eventually causing numbness.
With a long ride planned soon does anyone have any idea why the bike should suddenly become so uncomfortable and even better, does anyone have a solution?

inside the handbar there is a weight that is held in place only by a rubber mount. This may have come loose, it might be worth removing it and applying some glue to the rubber and then reinserting to see if it then dampens the vibrations.
As for the footrests, i have been unhappy with mine for some time, they don't vibrate but the position seems too high. I'm saving up for some aftermarket rearsets, which should allow me to reduce the height of the pegs by a couple of centimeters, making it a comfier ride.

Vibration...
Hi all,
Have gilles rearsets and the adjustment is quite wide, l am 6'3", so need to have a better leg position. As for vibration on the bars, as DR pointed out, try holding on with your thighs as gripping the bars too tight communicates up the wrists and adjust your levers to make your hands straight line. Apologies if l am pontificating too suck eggs at this poibt
