My card's behind the bar!

Celebrating being at home tonight when I thought I'd be spending it in hospital!

Had an odd sort of day yesterday - woke up feeling terribly tired, couldn't get over it, went back to bed mid morning, had some chest pain and took ages to get warm and slept till mid afternoon. Got up feeling slightly better but had back pain as well.

Today I was feeling better but called 111 this morning cos I still had niggly pain, they sent an ambulance, paramedic checked me over and my BP was way up so they took me to A&E who did ECGs and X ray and BP and blood test and it was all AOK - they don't know why I've had the pain but it's not my heart at least!
BTW it was largely due to a nurse not very far from here nagging me that I actually called 111 cos he made me promise I would if I wasn't better today! If I hadn't got checked out I might have still been worrying about it and getting high BP.

And best of all, Mike hasn't eaten all the doughnuts he bought this morning! — feeling happy.

arse kicked

I rest my case

pint of cholesterol please

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Ha I may not do punctuation but unless that's some weird Taiwanese copy I believe you may mean Rioja... If not send some over and we can both raise a glass to BG whilst midis cussing the finer points of distilling potatoes
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Pint of mind please (driving). Cheers!

Keep up the good health. :smt002
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Glad you are better, hope you stay well.
I think us old 'uns need to look after ourselves better, but it's not always easy is it.

I think we need to live as much as possible NOW and to hell with the future we may or may not have!

I've always eaten healthily, lots of organic veg and cooking from scratch, smoked of course but that's stopped now. Kept my weight down, etc etc - and had a heart attack!

So I reckon it's best to get on with it and my idea of looking after myself is that I'm NOT going to take pills that make me feel ill because they reckon they'll do my heart good!

Glad you're feeling your old self. I'd cut down on that organic veg, you do know it comes out of the floor?

Here is a tinnie raised to your wellbeing, and few house points to that nurse for a nagging well done.
