Hi all,
N e one know where I can get those gel pads that go onto the sides of our tank to stop me slamming my Parts onto the tank when these horrible, horrible people pull out on me and I have to apply my brake ever-so quickly
Think they r race grip pads that have raised sortta sticky gel coating...
Anywho n e one know where I can buy 'em
Cheers,
Warranty yeah rite
My warranty is the clear/smoked tail lights around the corner!!

the stomp pads are what you want, work really well, but they don't make Falco specific ones you would need to get a universal kit, or you can go to a snow board shop they have the same thing for less than half price of the stomp pads
I haven't put any on my bird yet, I've just been using some gaffer tape on the cutouts of the tank work surprisingly well
The problem with common sense is, its not very common

Well, I got something a little different made up by these guys;
http://www.btowstore.com/epages/Store2. ... 2.Shop1475
Very helpful and cheap too! They can pretty much make any design you want in a multitude of styles/finishes. Simply email them what you want n they do the rest!
I went fer the gel-domed 'transparent' effect, (actually colour matched silver backing otherwise you get air bubbles showing through), as you can see in my avatar as well as in this pic;

The tank pad is the same. Only thing to be aware of is that the Falcos tank is made of neoprene which means it 'breathes', so you inevitably get bubbles coming through. Seems to be more prevailant when the tank is cold, (ie when freshly filled with fuel), though the pads do flatten back out once warmed up!
Heh. Doesnt my tail light look nice...

Looks v good Fmunky. But I cannot find anything but vinyl graphics on their site. Nothing about gel-domed option. Am I stuck to a duct tape?

I got mine from there cos the delivery was cheaper and faster than demon tweeks.
They arent like a protection for the paint, they are just knobbles that grip your leathers so you dont have to put all your weight on your wrists, and they seem to work. Gonna take some re-learning to not nip the tank with a deathgrip when trying to overtake valentino
