Changing clutch lever

Can anyone explain why I cannot get the pin to unscrew,I dont wanna try and force it,the brake one popped out !!!

If you look on the underside of the brass barrell, you'll see a little grub screw which is holding the pin in place - undo that first, then the pin should unscrew (and the barrell can drop out). Simples! (Assuming you can get the grub screw without turning the head...)

I'll try and take a pic tonight if I remember

That grub screw is secured with threadlock, and it's a right little sod to get out without snapping the necessarily tiny allen key. Heating it before attempting to undo it is essential - I used a turboflame lighter for a couple of minutes - that was enough to soften the threadlock.

Took me ages before I noticed that grub screw the first time, I was cursing something rotten

Why an earth did they bother,didnt with the brake lever,things are impossible to get hold of also

Hi all,

I took mine out and turned the pin holder to the ickle allen bolt is on the top, so easier to get at in the future! Glad you got it sorted...
My warranty is the clear/smoked tail lights around the corner!!
