Replacement air filter for a Renegade "airbox" kit
Hi again,
The filter on my Renegade kit is getting pretty worn and shabby. I've searched through AF1, here, RSVR.net and can't find a definitive "This filter will fit OK" message.
I've found reference to a JC20/100 filter - it looks like the right one. Does anyone have the relevant filter dimensions handy?

Many thanks,
V

It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

Hey Steve, I've got the same problem and trying to source a replacement on this continent.
I've got a few ideas and just need to put them into action. I'll let you know what I turn up and would appreciate a reciprocal agreement.
Dammit, I'm writing a shit load of official correspondence today and it's worked its way into this post

If we all synergize our competences applying the kind of blus sky thinking that only the engaged emotional asset can input then with concentration and focus on the target and mission a suitably positive outcome can be achieved
Is that better?
Is that better?
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.

I've found there are two disconnected halves to the IT world - the no-nonsense technical people and the MBA-waving paper-pushers. IT is a strange place with plenty of socially dysfunctional people at all levels.flatlander wrote:Apparently if I had I wouldn't have just been let go again !! Right, I never got a reply from Griff, so I presume my message got lost in the aether.
I did find the following:
The equivalent filter is a Pipercross PX 300 part.no C304D
Doing a Google search brought up a few hits, and two online stores selling them. The official PiperCross mob:
http://www.pipercrossusa.com/PX-300-Sin ... 5759963011
and a store in the UK:
http://www.burtonpower.com/parts-by-bra ... range.html
Burton Power where cheaper by about AU$20, so I have a filter winging it's way across the globe.
