Disturbing
I won't comment, but it is very disturbing when you realise that the outcome is that someone dies. And I believe it is though provoking.

I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

I've seen lots of various biker groups reposting this on Facebook. Lots of fellow bikers criticising him for riding too fast. We've all done it though. If you're going to ride that fast you need to be looking further ahead than normal especially when a potential hazard is ahead, a junction in this case. I noticed he only has one hand on the bars until the last minute. I'd have been on the brakes as soon as I saw that car start to merge into the slip lane.
Maybe he shouldn't have been riding so fast or taking a little more care. At the end of the day he's paid the ultimate price and we should all take a lesson from it. Whether it be car drivers to check, check and check again for bikes or for riders to be more vigilant in looking for dozy drivers / hazards ahead in the road.
RIP David.

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

This chap was one of hanna's friends - she rode in his funeral ....
She also knows his mum - and it was her that wanted the video released
His mum also states in. The video that both parties were in. The wrong - she refuses to assign blame
To my mind, the rider got it wrong..... he did not slow - that junction is notorious
(I drive through it every day)
As I have said elsewhere - kudos to the family for using their sons death to make people think

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

It's very easy to analyse a situation after something goes wrong. I've also seen various posts on FB etc, and it seems everyone becomes a crash investigation expert.. It's also apparent that this tragedy will do little to deter some from riding in this manner.
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.
