This round is on me!
Last Tuesday, the Duc went to it's new home. I hope that the new owner gets more use and enjoyment out of it than ex-Mrs. Viking ever did.
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

^^ He's not joking!

It wasn't insured.
(Aside from the third-party injury insurance that is part of our annual registration fee.)

Given I just got made redundant, the money will be banked and used to pay rent and stuff until I can find another job.

Thanks. It's been a pretty FKed up year for me so far. However, things could be worse.

You've certainly been going through it. Sorry to hear about all of the issues and hope things are now beginning to turn themselves round for you.
All the best.

Thanks guys. Had a few nibbles on the job front, but nothing solid or serious. I guess I have to pull the finger out and start searching a bit harder.
However, it's not all doom 'n gloom. I just booked a holiday for Christmas - Mum and I are going to fly over to NZ to see my brother and his family.
