I have a skidmarx one, I bought from a forum member. He returned the first one they sent as it was crap, Ifitted it and it is crap, didnt even take it out for a blast.
Really thin flimsy piece of poo, you can have it for £30 plus postage but being really honest here ITS SHITE !
Its only about an inch longer than stock, looks like it came from Lidl's.
Do some research any buy something better !

I wouldn't be too hasty in writing of the skidmarx one - I have one and I'm very happy with it.

likewise - skidmarx fitted to both of the house hold falcos and good bits of kit

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

To be fair with a name like skidmarx you would expect them to be a bit shit...IGMC

Perhaps your screen was bought at a time when skidmarx has some degree of quality control over their bought in goods, mine is very similar to the clear plastic that you would find encapsulating an Easter egg, in looks and substance, If I'd been given the original paperwork I would have returned it. Glad you are happy with yours but I was shocked at how bad this screen is, expecting a lot better from a long standing company

Found the Puig screen still in the box it came in!

Sturdy piece of kit it is too, typical German over-engineering but I now remember the main reason I wasnt keen and removed it for the Skidmarks one.

Its totally black and CANNOT be seen through AT ALL.

Great for seeing your clocks, not so good for seeing the road through it - which you cant!

Will post a photo tomorrow.

I like the look of that! Makes me think of sci-fi spaceships or jet fighters for some reason.

Do Puig still make them?
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

From the picture, that looks just the same as the skidmarx (though a deeper tint than my one)

Good point Jay ..... I'd forgotten them ..... in fact, now you mention the name, I'm not sure whether mine was one of theirs or whether it was skidmarx as I claimed earlier.
I bought it (new) via ebay rather than direct from the vendor so the source is not so clearly etched on my memory.
