Minor mods

So, bike is back on the road after a week out replacing the stator seal. Hopefully that's the oil leak sorted.

While I was at it:

Pulled the blanks out my Blueflames. Nice throaty sound, dunno why I didn't do it years ago. Helps that we've just sold the house, so upsetting the neighbours is less of an issue...

Cleaned up all the gunge from the leaky oil around the gear change (and other bits). Shifts a lot better, and finds neutral pretty well as well

New BT016 fitted. Didn't realise how squared off the rear was until I saw the new tyre. All scrubbed in, ready for play while the sun is out :smt003

It's all looking good at the moment!

I didn't realise you was doing this.
A good tip is to coat the stator cover gasket in grease so heaven forbid you need to remove the casing the gasket should come off in one piece.
Tolerance will be our undoing.

I'll remember for next time!

Dave, was hearing your bike at the rideout that encouraged me to pop them out - sounds awesome!

Looks like it's coming from higher up, so airbox off this weekend. bugger.
