Bugger! And there is me having a par of Conti Road Attacks fitted just yesterday :smt012 ..mind you £155 balanced and fitted, not bad at all!

Spoke to my local tyre fitter about the same deal, and he said it only applies if you pay the full RRP which is the thick end of £300. So £40 off that isn't really much of a deal as most tyre fitters charge way less than the RRP in the first place.

Like he said, You don't get something for nothing

Doesn't say that in the small print......

1. £40 cashback when you purchase a pair (1 front fitment and 1 rear) of Diablo Corsa III tyres in a single transaction which replace an existing brand of tyres.
2. Purchases must be made between 1st May 2007 and 31st July 2007 (inclusive) and claim received by Pirelli by 31st August 2007. 3. Proof of purchase (i.e. receipt) must be original. No photocopies acceptable. Receipt must be dated showing purchase between 1st May 2007 and 31 July 2007.
4. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
5. Please allow 31 days for £40 cheque.
6. Only 1 claim per person and per household.
7. Tyres being removed must be road legal and have minimum 2mm of remaining tread across 75% of tyre. Pirelli reserves the right to inspect removed tyres with 7 days of transaction.
8. Eligible to households in the UK only.
