Very doubtful. I have a 190/55 on mine and there's clearance for a cable tie but no more. A 200 would almost certainly foul the chain and chain guard, and possibly the swingarm.
It would almost certainly cock the handling up and could actually be quite unpleasant to ride. You'd also find that the profile would be wrong, and you'd probably never use all of the tyre width, due to it being distorted.
I'd go for a 190/55 every time. Works a treat.

Care to elaborate on the benefits?mangocrazy wrote:Very doubtful. I have a 190/55 on mine and there's clearance for a cable tie but no more. A 200 would almost certainly foul the chain and chain guard, and possibly the swingarm.

Benefits over the 180/55?
With the 180 and 190/50 you get off the edge of the rear tread at modest lean angles so its more of a confidence thing when well cranked over as with the 190/55 , you are bringing more tread into play as you lean on it, rather than less.
180 probably makes the bike a bit mote agile in the low spead corners.
So it's a bit of a trade off between 180 and 190/55 with I the 190/50 I think you get the worst of both.

I'd agree with Keith. A 190/50 is the worst of all options. Actually, bearing in mind the original question, a 200 section is the worst of all options; a 190/50 is second worst.
As Keith says, a 180/55 gives a flatter profile, whereas a 190/55 (by comparison) has a 'pointier' profile (but not excessively so). The 190/55 should put more rubber on the road at 'sporting' angles of lean. I've not found that it slows the steering down at all.
