Grimeca front discs

Can anybody tell me why my bike, manufactured 2003 but registered 2005, is fitted with Grimeca front brake discs, all the others I've seen appear to have Brembo's?

Have you had it from new? If not, maybe a previous owner fitted them.

Aprilia have tended to use both Brembo and Sunstar disks on their bikes. Not sure whether the Falcos got both originally but I've certainly got a set of Sunstars on one of my sets of wheels.

D-Rider, nope only owned it 5 weeks, no issues with how they perform just curious as to whether they were standard or not.

I bought a genuine rear disk because it was 30 quid new old stock and mine's a bit scruffy.
It's a Sunstar.
