Just when I thought the spending had stopped. It has now!!
Funny how it looks so standard and untouched:
Side stand
Battery
R&G bungs
Wilbers shock
Factory racing levers
Factory Racing slave
Long Mirrors
New stickers
And I just got in after a little ride and she still makes me grin like a loon.

I have changed the picture to one taken outside so the frame appears as it is, silver.

I'd be interested in your opinion of the new saddle, if summer ever arrives....

Although the Falco seat looks like it should be uncomfortable, I was amazed how good it worked when I first got the bike. I found full tank runs, 160/170 miles without stopping to be no problem.
However, the last couple of years I struggle after 110miles with my feet slowly going numb. I put this down to constriction to my upper legs as I lean forward because I can ease the symptoms by sitting up straight with one hand on the bars and alternately lifting each buttock to allow circulation to restart. This probably looks like I'm trying to ease out a fart but it does the trick.
My point is that its not the seat or bike ergonomics but me and my advancing years that's the problem. I've seen friends spend hundreds on aftermarket seats/gel inserts etc and end up where they started comfort wise.
When you think of the likes of Nick Sanders doing multiple consecutive thousand mile days on an R1 during his round the world record attempt, it makes you wonder if comfort can be down to mindset as much as the foam in your seat.
All that said, despite having ridden many modern bikes, includind BMW GS, new Caponrd, I haven't come across another bike with the Falco's all round attributes and can't see me getting rid of it. It scratches, it tours and still makes me smile every time I go out on it. It's shit for nipping down the shops but that's what cars are for.
By the way, this is not a pop at your new seat Tony. Even if its not any more comfortable it looks great so why not.

Your right the standard seat is OK but I suffered where it pressed into the two bones in my ass, what surprises most people including myself it the Sargent seat is actually firmer than the original one and actually supports you for longer, I have found in the week or so I have been using it is that for me ( I can only vouch for myself) that it is a better seat for what I use the bike for.

i have had a sergeant saddle on my falco for 7 years - and a couple of points
its taller than the standard one
its wider though better sculpted to fit a slightly fatter bottom
I do get to ride on standard falco saddles, and they are ok - but I would not swop back :)
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
