Well as most of you are aware I lost my spleen due to a bad collision in a rugby match, and as a result I can no longer handle the big bike(now I've opened myself up to abuse again). I will put it for sale in the ad section in a bit but thought I better say thanks to all the guys on the Futura page for all the help and advice I never took or just ignored ha ha ha only kidding of course.
I should be up to full strength in time for Christmas so riding to meets is off sadly but I may drive up and show my face
EDIT: Link to "For Sale" ad

Very sorry to hear you're having to sell but glad you came through the medical crisis and are in a position to be able to.
Do stick around on Ridersite - you'll always be part of the "family" whatever you ride or drive.

BTW, looking at your avatar, I think that 8" scar of yours is coming open. I'd call the medical services for you but Pete might turn up (Hanna would never find you)

Bloody hell young un, didn't know you'd done that to yourself.
Hope you're on the up and that you make it to a meet or two.

I think you will find them in "hobbit leather man monthly"
I believe he has gone all macho leather waist coat and patch wearer....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Aye, spoke to him recently and I think he's gone a bit gribbly in his old age.
Marts bought a choppery thing too - I'm seeing a pattern here.

Sorry to hear about the spleen Uber. Know how you feel to some extent, had mine removed after contracting pancreatitis when in USA. So they decided to a bulk job and remove 90% of my pancreas, all of my spleen and gall bladder too. Now the bits that are left are on the 'wrong' side owing to the room left. Have a great giggle when a radiologist takes an x-ray and looks at the image trying not to look shocked...I'm just going to check with the Consultant - never fails to bring a wee smile. And I'm very lucky, I can still ride my Falco after cancer struck in Oct-2012 too - just lucky I guess, I'm still around.

I seriously need to check the site more often as I have let you lot talk crap about me while I've been gone without a retort!
The scar is not making an appearance on here as people might be eating however it will make an appearance at the Marches meet as it always comes out when I'm drunk and the scar!
As for the sale of the Fut, I miss it terribly even though it was hard to ride after the op. I love my new bike to bits (XV950) but they are worlds appart and once I have the spare funds I will see if the guy I sold it to wants to sell it back once he's done.

There were too many complications to just remove the spleen so they whipped me open to see what was going on. It worked out to be a lot going on after my accident like kidney damage, bust ribs and a lung issue and the loss of 3.6ltr of blood. But hey its cool and nearly 100% now
