Got home from work to find my mate Sam lurking outside mine. I parked the bike up then she stopped me from opening the door, a grin on her face. She said Be careful when you open the door, Ive got you an early pressie !
We ventured indoors, all looked normal apart from the airing cupboard which was open ...inside the cupboard was a tiny pair of green eyes attatched to a black kitten, 6 month old rescued stray.
The staffie has been a bit down since the old black cat was put down, he missed her a lot.
Boring to a lot of you but cchristmas to me, my dog and a little rescue kitten that is purring away infront of the woodburner

Yes, she does deserve a very large JD, she's been scheming this for ages !
I'd almost forgotten what timewasters kittens are, routine tasks for humans are mega games for kittys, tyeing laces now is almost impossible.
if it moves its a target.

Nice one! It's nice to hear a bit of Christmas cheer for once. I got meself an early Christmas pressie too in the shape of a new set of carb balancers, at least they don't chase my laces!

Fabulous! I was never a cat person until we got our kittens but I'm a convert now. Our 6 year old moggie still thinks he's a kitten at times which, as you say, can make simple jobs rather difficult. He particularly likes to "help" when I'm working in the garage. Having a 5kg cat suddenly land on something that is at that tricky part of the reassembly can try the patience somewhat.

Dusty, that made me chuckle !
Think Im going to have my hands full with this one, at least she is not walking all over the keyboard, she is sat in the hood of my sweatshirt instead ! Duracell Plus bonkers !
The dog is taking it in his stride, she has worked out he is a good pillow.
At least he now has a companion again !
Ticks all the boxes, a stray given a home, cat loving dog made happy again and chaos for me

Oh, and thanks again Sam, I'll always owe you one, you'll always owe me one and niether of us will worry about it

Just to fill in the time until you post them up, here's a couple of my Ozzy as a kitten - got him 2 years ago, an unwanted waif. Now, when I'm home, he's almost permanently attached to my knee or shoulders.
