I'll shortly be needing to get rid of my Rover 75 Tourer (Club SE).
'53 plate. 74,000 miles. Tax & MOT February 2014. 2.0 CdTi (BMW engine, chain-driven cams). Front brake pads replaced last week. Power steering pump replaced 2 years (ca. 8,000 miles) ago. Snow & mud tyres on front wheels. Spare wheel (alloy). Original tool kit. Load area tonneau cover.
It's a bit tatty. Chrome trim on rear offside wing missing (local kids); dent in rear nearside wing; dent in tailgate (reversed into stack of timber at work); various minor scuffs and scrapes. Garage advised when fitting pads last week it'll probably need new front discs for next MOT. Small hole in rear offside tail light lens (taped over). Cat C.
According to Parkers' Guide, it would be worth up to £1,200 - £1,500 in a private sale, £960 as a trade-in were it not for the Cat C. I'd be happy with £600, or close to that. The car will be available as soon as I've found a replacement (going to look at one tomorrow morning).
