An incredible man of courage, determination, vision, wisdom.
A man who changed the political history of the world, we will probably never see anyone like him again in our life time.
A true hero
Cleverly disguised as an adult !

Definitely a good one that has passed away. He lived to a good age, I suppose it paid for the lost 27 years.
Tolerance will be our undoing.

The 27 years were not lost - his influence was felt just as much if not more, when he was in prison. A truly great man.
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

The Long Walk to Freedom is an interesting read if you've not read it. Changed my perception of him and of the last days of the old regime, but not in a bad way.
Where ever I lay my hat.....
