Sorry just have to release some pressure.

I park the bike on the other side of the street from my work, so I can keep an eye on it through the window.

Well, today I saw it on a side, twisted, 2 meters away of the place I parked it.

Something (yes, I did not use someone on purpose) kicked it off the sidestand, than dragged it away, and then put some kind of a signature-graffiti painting on a tank (with a permanent marker). Did quite a lot of cosmetic damage.
Scuffs on the brake levers, mirror, barend, broken crash-bang (was broken already, now just fell off), tiny but noticeable chip in a paint on a tank. Tiny dent on a red part of the fork leg (you know what I mean).
I managed to remove f@cker's signature, tho. If only I could get my hands on it.
The bike does not want to ride straight (I assume it's triple-clamp alignment as the force wasn't huge). So I need to play with it tomorrow morning.

The worst thing is that it is my first track day tomorrow and my bike is riding in circles.

At first I was mad, I wanted to chase someone (who?). Than I was frustrated when I realized that I have zero chances of finding this d1ck. Now I'm just sad. Why do they do this? I've never understood vandalism. :smt011 [/i]

Might be worth talking to the police - if someone "tagged" your bike, they might have photos of tags and know who they belong to. Long shot, but might be worth a go.

Sorry to hear about the damage - really sucks, even more so because it's deliberately done by some mindless pr!ck. :smt011

sorry to hear your story ......what do they feed the little b$stards on nowadays :smt013 ....it's time they had some 2" pipe round the back of the head!! ... that's the only answer!

Have a word with the locals if possible ..maybe they know who the likely arsehole is....then report your findings to local ploddy...mind you they do nothing anyway so whats the point!

what do the tax paying public have to do to protect your property and belongings....it's getting worse here, think i'll sell up and find an island somewhere :smt012

meanwhile i'll order some giles variobars with optional AK47 mount.

If you ever find the little CENSORED who did that to your bike, kill him. Then hang the body from a lamp-post as a warning to others.

Naah, others wouldn't catch the meaning. I'd find out what he loves the most and make him destroy it. Then burn the lot.

that would drive me to drink. Ok to drink more. How infuriating! I hope the brain-donor scumbag who did this gets his eyes poked out with a spoon.

That's terrible Sab.

Whether or not it will actually do any good, report it to the police. Although I find it extremely hard to fathom why anyone would do something like this, the description you give - especially the 'tag' - suggests that this was extremely deliberate.
Unless you've somehow upset the person specifically (and we can all do that without realising it sometimes), then maybe this is part of a pattern of what this person does for kicks.
If so, the police may have other similar reports - or be about to get them ...

If this is part of a pattern, they may well be more interested and you will have done your bit to try to stop this happening to some other poor sod.

I hope you get the bike sorted quickly without too much hassle or cost.

Thanks for commiserations fellas. The bike is OK now, I was lucky that they dragged it on the same side that I crashed last year, so they just added a few scratches here and there.

The most annoying thing is wheel alignment now, as once you loose it, you'll forever think that it's out. I checked everything, with a measuring tape, rope, straight pieces of tubing etc, I think it's better than it was originally. But I cannot help looking at the top yoke sweating if it is not pointing straight. I'm just going paranoid with it, will get over.

Need to go, Brands Hatch is calling me :smt003

That's awful Sab. May as well mention it to the plod. Should he do it again and get caught they'll know just how many people he has done it to.
