Chat about joiner pics

Do you have to own one or just be able to name them ?
Does this exclude those not involved in a carpentry trade ?

Neither.

..... although I do own one that's in the group.

I'm not saying what you have to do because I don't want the discussion escalating and potentially things being compromised.

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

No point in constructing a nice sturdy locked gate and then having a neon sign saying 'Keys here'...

I'm changing the name of this thread too as there is a small chance the current name might confuse potential new joiners.
Hope you don't mind.

Are the joiners one of those sects like the Methodists?

Really like the advert that chap who ran the co op bank did for them.... Not to sure about the cottaging but the drugs sounded cool....

Hmmm

To try to give my Mum things to do in the week since Dad passed away, we've got her to join a few things in the village where she lives.
She very much seems to enjoy the women's group at the methodist church on a tuesday afternoon ..... though she can seldom remember what they've done.

.... not just water into wine these days ..... perhaps .....

Oi! Methodists are not a sect, they're a Denomination. So there.

No I'm not one but I used to be when I was a regular churchgoer.

When the metal theft thing started one of our customers who sent us exotic lumps of stuff to test insisted we get a gate on the shutter doors. Gaffer measured up and ordered a bid metal swinging affair with a wheel on one end. It was four foot high with a two foot gap underneath. He didn't understand why this amused me.
Where ever I lay my hat.....
