May be some stroppy admins

After a few months of relative silence - those spamming buggers are back

NOT kitchens this time but

6 dodgy registrants inside 1/2 hour - no obvious pattern but - I rather fear we will suffer an onslaught

I know hobbit is away working in Mordor - under - London, but will see if we can just alter some security....

IF you have been a genuine applicant and get deleted .... Try an email to bikestuff AROUND petedean dot org dot uk

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Cheers Tim-ski

I did use the iGollum phone earlier and it does appear there are some new nasty bits that are compromising accounts....

seems from my fishing that we have a lot of afghan ones.. a fair few chinese and the standard amount of russians.

I'll keep an eye this weekend and see what gives.

I shall put a post up in the dark side with how admins can play the fishing game at some stage this weekend. tends to capture more of the little fekkers than email addy bashing

It would, but if the admin admin actually bothered his arse to open the laptop of an evening the version of php wouldnt matter...

As it happens 5am to 6pm days are a twat and ive had little interest in much of a night time bar sleeping.
Got new digs however so that reduces my commuting by 200 miles a week from end of the month.. so I will reappear more often

and yes.. in answer to the question at the end :smt002

Just so long as you didn't put your head over the parapet .....

And on an average chair you would have been safe
