Falco parts

#1 Post by szrdave » Sun Oct 20, 2013 10:32 pm

Having sold my Falco (it sounded great as the new owner rode off on it :smt010) I've got a few bits left over:

Ohlins rear shock - To be removed from the bike this weekend*, blinkey501 has called first dibs

Oberon clutch slave cylinder - £40 (or £45 posted)
Fits with the standard sprocket cover and lightens the lever nicely

Image

NWS tubular aluminium exhaust hangers - £20 (or £25 posted)
These remove the rear pegs and lighten the look of the rear end nicely. I used them as bungee mounting points when carrying luggage so there are plenty of small scratches, but they don't detract from the look too much. More pictures when they're removed this weekend but this is them on the bike:

Two steering dampers, one RSV red body with fitting kit, one later Aprilia with sliver body and no mounting kit.
Both are oil tight but have some marks, let me know if you want a picture.

£15 each

* He lives around the corner and is bringing it back for the swap. I'm not sneaking around in the middle of the night with a socket set :smt003

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Quick update - Hangers and RSV steering damper with fitting kit both gone.

Oberon slave cylinder and the other steering damper are still available:

:smt003 :smt003

Basically a pair of funny shaped washers for the body and a cylindrical spacer for the rod end.

I'm afraid it may have been taken though flatlander, just waiting on confirmation.

i have to be honest and say that is the first time i have ever seen that silver sachs unit......

rare!

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I also have a Forza EPROM chip programmed for a Falco with open pipes and drop in air filter.

Fitted to my bike once, and it didn't agree with it (lumpy low down fueling, cured by TB balance according to Forza).

£30 posted.
