Yep

Mounts are already there to fit a Mille Sachs or ohlins units

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Can I piggy back on this thread :smt003 I went to order the appropriate T bushings and o rings and spacers to fit my steering damper as I have only the bare damper and none of fitting bits. I went to order two t bushes, one spacer two o rings and a partridge in a pear tree lol. Sorry that bit just popped in there. Anyway, just for these tiny parts inc p+p they want £42...ouch. Does anybody have these parts spare I could buy or could something else be fabricated to suit, most second hand dampers I've seen on eBay don't appear to come with these parts.

Or stop being a tight arse and buy the bits, I know that's the most sensible option but just seems very expensive for tiny parts. Ie a tiny o ring £6.70 that's unreal

Lol

No worries bud :smt001 the parts came to 27 inc postage..not too bad until I put my address then it shot to 42 lol those bits could be put in an envelope lol. That was aprilia Yorkshire I looked at, any suggestions where would be the best place to order from probably if I called rather than doing it through the internet the parts could be posted Royal Mail.

Where in Yorks is it? If its close to either Wakefield or Harrogate (Or in between) I could pick it up and snail mail it for you?

Edit; I just looked where you were getting them from, Aprilia Yorkshire!!! How the fuck can they call themselfs Aprilia Yorkshire when they are in Nottingham, now I am Irish but hell even we know what county we are me.....most of the time.

PS. That's an awful website they had been 7 years since anything has been updated on there.

Edit again. I did a bit of searching seems the domain name isn't even owned by anyone right now lol. If I were a naughty kind of guy I could go buy the domain and hold it ransom. Also it seems Ultimate Parts LTD is taking that business............ Anyhooooooo I was bored this morning and had a gander lol

Good luck fitting the damper zoidberg. The only tricky thing is limited access, but it's just two screws holding it on.

To anyone without the fitting kit, it's just a couple of funny shaped washers, two 16ID 21OD o-rings, a 10mm M6 clearance spacer and two M6 screws.
The washers are probably easiest sourced from Aprilia, but the rest can be found for pennies.
