Seeking a favour

#1 Post by MartDude » Tue Sep 24, 2013 6:07 pm

Is anyone on here, who lives within a reasonable travelling distance of me (South Shropshire), likely to be travelling to Scotland in the near future? I could do with a pair of wheels collecting from Dalgety Bay, near Dunfermline, and bringing to somewhere nearer than where they are now, for me to collect.

It's a damn shame you didn't ask last week as a mate of mine has just come back from my brothers (Inverness). Not much help I know. :smt095

However. I do know of someone coming past these parts in a few weeks from Aberdeenshire, so may be able to help. Can ask if this time scale is ok?
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

I'll have to ask the seller. Griff (Aprilia Performance) is going to Edinburgh in a month, & says he'll pick them up if no-one else is going that way sooner. But, please ask your friend if he'd be prepared to do this, just in case. Thanks, Will.

I'm not planning on heading to Shropshire but I could collect and hold the wheels for you if you need them uplifted from the seller sooner than Griff can do it. I live in East Lothian so I could arrange a transfer there or anywhere between there and Glasgow where I work most days.

I had four car wheels couriered by Hermes for £50 so if you can't get them upliftes, it should only cost you about £25.

I vote for that I sent 4 wheels once and I bet Blinkey was at the same house !!
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

OK, all sorted; the seller is sending them by courier for £25.00 Sounds reasonable.

Thanks for the offers of help with this.

I did ask.. They're skipping across the A9 towards Glasgow, then M77/M6. Dunt matter now anyway it would seem. :smt003
